See below for the latest schedule of events for the Jiffy Lube Live located in Bristow, Virginia. Finally, don't go unless you love the band, it is a big hassle. The Jiffy Lube Live is one of Virginia’s most renowned entertainment venues. Also, make sure to eat before the show starts. On your way out, reverse the process and get picked up near where you were dropped off. For me, a 15-20 minute walk beats sitting in the car for 30 minutes to go 1/2 a mile. I suggest taking a Lyft or Uber, getting dropped off down the road from the venue and walking the rest of the way. ![]() Once you arrive, parking is tough, exiting the lot is hard and for the sold out show I attended, the most interesting food vendors ran out of food before the set break. Now the bad - the combination of DC area traffic and just a few roads leading to the venue once you get off the freeway makes getting there a nightmare. There was a good choice of different food and drink vendors. Sorry Jiffy Lube Live never again - even if you could bring back David Bowie alive!įirst the good - the venue is nicely designed, sight lines are good, the sound system is terrific and huge ceiling fans provide cooling in the covered areas when it is hot, and shielding from the elements when it is not. Of course you can pay the ridiculous $50+ to get VIP parking and leave first, but that's just gouging your customers. And all exit lanes take you to Route 66 - too bad if you aren't going that way, then you are lost. Though now they have parking attendants who let the various lots out at different times, but if you get stuck in one of the last lots to be released, then its wait, wait, wait - and get home after midnight. After the concert it is just as bad trying to get out. I couldn't believe the traffic in line to get into the one parking lot entrance and then the mass group of people waiting to get in to the venue (not a sold out concert BTW) all jumbled together, no visible lines. Forward 20+ years I returned to see Kiss - and it's still a mess. I was here in the 90s for Pearl Jam (when it was called Nissan Pavilion) and it was a mess getting in and out, but the excuse then was that is was new and the kinks weren't worked out however, I vowed not to go again. The actual venue is ok, with good sight lines and plenty of food, drink, and ample ladies' rooms, but if you don't like to wait, it's not the venue to see a concert. ![]()
